Portrait of Alcénat Honorat, founder and editor of The Verifiable

Hi, I'm Alcénat Honorat.

I work at the intersection of engineering, humanitarian experience, and sustainability reporting.

My background began in infrastructure construction, where I learned that a number is only useful if the method behind it is sound. It continued through humanitarian work and development contexts, where I have seen firsthand how impact reporting in the Global South can sometimes emphasize what sounds compelling in a corporate setting more than what is actually happening in the field. That experience shaped how I think about ESG, CSR, and disclosure today.

Over time, I kept seeing the same gap: many claims are polished, but the evidence behind them is thin. That is what led me to start Synerxus and build The Verifiable — to better understand and address the evidence layer behind every claim.

The Verifiable is where I share analysis, frameworks, and field notes for people who want to make claims that are clear, credible, and defensible. My goal is not to oversell solutions, but to help strengthen the standard behind them.
