Portrait of Alcénat Honorat, founder and editor of The Verifiable

Hi, I'm Alcénat Honorat. What I bring.

I'm a founder, engineer, and humanitarian focused on evidence, disclosure, and verification.

My path runs through three worlds that rarely speak the same language: engineering, where a number is only as good as the instrument behind it; humanitarian operations, where claims travel faster than the truth they describe; and sustainability reporting, where intent is too often mistaken for evidence.

I started my career building and running systems — physical, operational, and organizational — in environments where things had to actually work. From there I moved into project management and humanitarian deployments, and eventually into ESG, CSR, and disclosure work, where I kept running into the same pattern: confident reports, thin evidence, and almost no one asking the verification question.

The Verifiable is my answer to that pattern. It's where I publish analysis, frameworks, and field notes for people who need claims they can stand behind — and methods they can hand to an auditor without flinching.

The Verifiable is where I share what I'm learning, question what deserves to be questioned, and elevate what actually moves us forward.
